More Than A Hobby
Digging in the dirt keeps me grounded. I can't think of a time when I haven't been gardening or growing something. My current project is turning city lot rubble into sanctuary ... or at least something neighbors, birds, butterflies, and I can enjoy. Matching plants to the best environment for healthy growth is also how I've come to understand my role as a coach ... help people identify and leverage their strengths, develop the best environment for their growth, and yank out the weeds that get in the way.
Community Connections
* After 17 years in New Jersey suburbia, returned home to upstate New York and the opportunity to be part of the resurrection of a vibrant city neighborhood in Troy, the hometown of Uncle Sam
* Converted a 130+ year-old brick rowhouse from long-time vacant shell into fabulous urban live-work space
* But it's really people that count. Colleagues, neighbors, friends, family ... I'm amazed when individual interests, experiences and talents play off each other. Results are always bigger, better when we take advantage of our networks. And for me, Spirit lives in the heart of these connections.
